Targeting Excellence in Electronics and Cable Assembly

The IPC-A-610 “Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies” is the most widely used standard published by the IPC with an international reputation as the source for end product acceptance criteria for consumer and high reliability electronic assemblies. This is an industry developed and approved program that includes training, certification and instructional materials updated to Revison H of IPC-A-610.

IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies

The IPC/WHMA-A-620 "Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies" is the first industry consensus standard for cable and wire harness fabrication and installation. Classes of products are defined and include criteria for Acceptable, Process Indicator and Defect conditions to support the collection of visual quality acceptability requirements for each class. The training program has been updated to cover the changes in Revision D of the standard.

IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies

There is a small amount of common content that allows for both certiifications to be completed in a single 5 day block, for CIS only.  This can be a convenient way to maintain your Acceptability Standard certifications where both IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 are required.

Please Note:

  1. The IPC no longer produces hard copies of exams or certificates - all online
  2. For online and Remote Proctored courses, candidates will require a copy of the current revision of both IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620
  3. For Remote Proctored exams printed copies of the standards must be used (DRM downloaded copies cannot be used)

Fees:

The fee for the combined IPC-A-610 & IPC/WHMA-A-620 course is the sum of the individual course fees, less 10%.
